Monday 9th through to Friday 13th May saw the IMF at the Mach trade show at the NEC Birmingham.

This is a big event and is based primarily on engineering equipment with many incredible machines in operation. It was interesting to see how much 3-D modelling is now being used in industry and also some of the intricate designs that can be produced.

The IMF was there in an advisory capacity and had many enquiries on a wide range of subjects.

What was good to see was new people coming on the stand asking advice on how they should proceed with new innovative ideas and it is good to see that the UK is still a leader in this field.
